Caspar Heinemann, summer residency
17 August – 15 September 2015
Caspar Heinemann is an artist and writer based in London. Their current work is concerned with queer embodiment, radical ecology and myth-making. During their time at Res they created new sculptural works and drawings, inspired by Wikipedia articles, exploring the politics of legibility, taxonomy, mythology and collective knowledge. They have most recently given readings at the ICA and Arcadia Missa, and shown at Alt Stralau 4 (Berlin), SPACE (London), and Fokidos (Athens).
