IN RESIDENCY

Live Action Role-Play written by Lizzie Stark
19 November 4 – 9pm

Want to be an Artist, or a different Artist? IN RESIDENCY is an American Freeform game about the relationship between trauma and art. This Live Action Role-Play (larp) features politically and socially satirical facets, often thought of as more familiar to the Nordic genre of larp. These darker, psychologically perplexing games, propose a release from the obligations and ramifications of our everyday lives while still existing in a familiar ideological realm.

Outside the fortress walls is desert, dry as coal. But the walls inside are soft, and they will keep you. I will take care of you. You can rest here. I will care for you so diligently that I will inevitably fantasise about your death. I will touch you carefully, delicately, as I imagine your destruction. You are almost too delicate to survive; your body is on the point of disintegrating.
